Telluride Adventure Engagement Session - Telluride Colorado Elopement - Silke and Peter

Silke and Peter had the most phenomenal wedding weekend ever, period. I shared their wedding at San Sophia Overlook a few months ago, and what I am sharing today is their epic day before session! We reserved a jeep from Telluride Outside and went to Bridal Veil Falls and the property of an acquaintance, which had amazing views of Wilson Peak. This is where I learned all about Silke and Peter - how they’d met in a cab and continued crossing paths, how we both love bagels most, if being a crazy plant lady was a profession we’d both be set. It was an awesome afternoon getting to explore Telluride, not to mention that we ended by paddle boarding on this remote lake outside of Telluride! St. Mary's Glacier Engagement Session - Snowy Engagement Photos in Colorado - Colorado Wedding Photographer - Hannah and Trevor

Hannah and Trevor knew they wanted snow for their engagement session at St. Mary’s Glacier. What we didn’t expect was just how much snow we would end up getting! If you’ve hiked St. Mary’s Glacier, you know it’s not a long hike, but it’s basically straight uphill for about a mile, so definitely not the easiest. We struggled a bit getting enough traction to hike up, but luckily we made it to the top and we were able to get some fun snowy engagement photos. This is truly what I envision true adventure sessions being like. We were wet, cold, but laughing at the randomness that is mother nature in Colorado. They had a mini snow fight at the end, and thats the way all engagement sessions should be :)
