Wild Horse Inn - Fraser Colorado Wedding Photographer - Liz & Jesper

The Wildhorse Inn is one of my favorite Colorado wedding venues. I love everything about it - it’s quaint, remote feeling (despite being 10ish minutes away from downtown Winter Park), adorable rustic decor and that all your loved ones can stay under one roof. Having grown up coming to a family cabin just outside Winter Park, Jesper and Liz decided this would be the best spot for them to get married. This was seriously one of my favorite weddings this past summer due to its lovely uniqueness. Liz and Jesper had hand made quilted chuppah from a loved one, hanging ribbons that took hours to put up, homemade jam as a gift, and contra dancing (which was amazing and so fun to photograph!). It’s definitely refreshing to shoot a wedding that is different, and it certainly helped that Liz and Jesper were silly in love and the photo ops were endless. I hope you enjoy, and if you plan on having your mountain wedding in Winter Park or at the Wild Horse Inn please reach out, ‘cause im definitely your girl!

Chatfield Botanic Gardens Wedding - Denver Wedding Photographer - Zach & Eric

Oh my GOD. I don’t even know where to begin with how adorable Zach and Eric are, and how much fun it was to be a part of their gorgeous fall wedding at Chatfield Botanic Gardens. First of all, let’s talk about how just a few days before their wedding it had been snowing, and on their wedding day it was a beautiful warm 60 degree day. Secondly it was fall, so the leaves were still hanging on for dear life and their colors were on point. Thirdly, there were no dry eyes during their ceremony. Not only were they so happy to be coming together in marriage, but you could tell that all of their loved ones had been excitedly waiting for this moment too.

Some of my favorite moments throughout the day, which for your viewing pleasure are also featured below: Zach & Eric’s first kiss, which involved the cutest of dips, right as the sun was going down during the most beautiful sunset ever, the moment right after that where they are walking back down the aisle and embrace in a super sincere, tear jerker of a hug, all the group hugs involving friends, and the mother son dance which started out slow and traditional and then quickly turned into a full blown dance to Soulja Boys “Crank That”. This was a dancing crew of the best kind, which means they were out there working harder than I was, and I was shooting a wedding 8 months pregnant! Honestly though, if I hadn’t been so enormously pregnant at the time, there’s a good chance I would have joined in too, because there is nothing I love more than a good old fashioned dance off.
