Wolf Den Wedding - Twin Lakes, Colorado Wedding - Melanie and Mason

Melanie & Mason’s Twin Lakes wedding was seriously one of my absolutely favorites of 2020. I know it was not the big party that Melanie had originally envisioned, but even with the small amount of guests the love was palpable.

They originally met in college and moved to Colorado because they’re both avid backpackers and outdoor adventurers. Getting married in the Colorado mountains was the perfect plan for them and the airbnb they chose was perfect. I love that airbnb weddings in Colorado are slowly becoming the norm, and they are a great way to elope or have a small intimate ceremony!

One thing that I don’t photograph as often as weddings, but I love just as much, is proposals! Seriously, I love being a part of the excitement, the planning, the pure shock! A lot of people chose to propose in Colorado because it’s so picturesque, and Ryan was one of those folks! He and his soon to be fiance, Katie, had been doing long distance for a while, and Ryan was in town for the weekend and decided that this was going to be the perfect opportunity!
