Brian and Brylee seriously got married on one of the most beautiful winter days I have ever experienced in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a little on the warmer side, with gorgeous clear blue skies and just enough snow on the ground to remind you that it was still very much winter. Not only that, they got married right before the pandemic hit, right before the world was full of masks and terms like social distancing were the norm. It was happier times, and this wedding was seriously full of giddy joy. Also, can we talk about their malamutes for a second? Look at those two butter balls! They were the perfect addition to this gorgeous RMNP winter elopement.

Telluride Adventure Engagement Session - Telluride Colorado Elopement - Silke and Peter

Silke and Peter had the most phenomenal wedding weekend ever, period. I shared their wedding at San Sophia Overlook a few months ago, and what I am sharing today is their epic day before session! We reserved a jeep from Telluride Outside and went to Bridal Veil Falls and the property of an acquaintance, which had amazing views of Wilson Peak. This is where I learned all about Silke and Peter - how they’d met in a cab and continued crossing paths, how we both love bagels most, if being a crazy plant lady was a profession we’d both be set. It was an awesome afternoon getting to explore Telluride, not to mention that we ended by paddle boarding on this remote lake outside of Telluride!
