Maroon Bells Wedding - Aspen Wedding Photographer - Erin and Taylor

You know how sometimes you meet someone and their good energy is palpable?? Like you can actually feel the good vibes coming off them? That’s exactly what being around Erin and Taylor is like. First of all, Erin’s laugh is incredibly contagious - you can’t help but smile/laugh right along with her. Taylor is exactly the same, and you can tell that being around Erin makes him the happiest man around. When I asked them what excited them most about their Maroon Bells wedding, they both said the same thing: walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time. When that moment came, I admit I had a hard time not bawling my eyes out, simply because again, you could feel the love and happiness radiating.

Another one of my favorite things about these guys is just how warm and friendly they are. Being from the south must be part of the reason why, and I loved hanging out with their fun loving Tennessee crew on the wedding day, who Erin and Taylor were so excited to share their Colorado destination wedding with. When I asked them what they loved most about each other, Erin said that “Taylor has the biggest heart. He will go above and beyond for anyone he loves. He always knows the right thing to say to me to calm me down in frustrating situations when no one usually could. Taylor knows how to make me laugh, encourage me, motivate me and reassure me.” Cue the tears? Yep. Taylor said “Erin is full of life, laughter and loves me for the person I am. Everyone always loves hanging out with her, including me and she always keeps me on my toes.” I couldn’t agree more Taylor!

Apart from them being the cutest couple ever, the day unfolded beautifully and weather wise it could not have gone better. It also helps that the Maroon Bells serve as the most stunning backdrop for a wedding, with the most picturesque mountains ever, but I digress. Here it is, feast your eyeballs!

Boettcher Mansion Wedding - Denver Wedding Photographer - Betsy and Connor

Oh my goodness…how can I even begin to describe the awesome/amazing/rager of a wedding that was Betsy and Connor’s? For starters, these two are loved immensely by all of their nearest and dearest - it was palpable. I pretty much teared up every time a friend or relative did, which means I basically was hogging all of the tissues.

They decided to host their love fest at Boettcher Mansion in Golden, Colorado, which suited them perfectly. Betsy and Connor have known each other since elementary school, and even dated briefly (there is a framed note to prove it, scroll on!) around middle school before breaking up and then getting back together seriously in high school.

One of my favorite things about this wedding was (besides the amazing sunset on lookout mountain) was the crazy dance party at the end. These guys know how to throw (and throughly enjoy) a good dance party. I don’t think there was anyone who didn’t get up to dance (it was incredibly contagious, even I was moving!), and once you did you were hooked the rest of the night!
